Answers that need current information
Ask for the Bank of Jamaica's latest policy rate decision, a recent government announcement or current flight prices to Kingston, and Gemini searches before answering. - Long-form writing. For long reports and careful argument, I find Claude and ChatGPT produce more finished drafts; Gemini tends to be shorter and shallower.
- Local knowledge. Like every AI assistant, it gets Jamaican details wrong: parish names, agency processes, fees. Check them against the agency's own site.
- Hedging. It sometimes gives a cautious non-answer where a direct one would help. Asking "give me your best single recommendation" usually fixes it.

Use the free tiers of all three for a month; each is best at something. If you then pay for one:
